Local Organizations Collaborate in Preserving Legacies Event

February 21, 2022

(Canton, Ohio) – The McKinley Presidential Library and Museum is collaborating with local organizations to present ‘Preserving Legacies.’

The event will be held Friday, March 25th at 1:00 p.m. at the museum, 800 McKinley Monument Drive NW, Canton, and will include complementary admission to the museum following the presentation.

“We are excited to partner with the Canton Cemetery Association and Next, LLC for this event because preserving legacies is at the heart of what we do here at the McKinley Presidential Library & Museum,” explained Executive Director, Kimberly Kenney. “Planned giving, both monetary donations and family heirloom items, is not something that is top of mind for most people.  We want to remind our community that our museum is dedicated to preserving local history, and there are many ways that people can help us do that.”

Featured guests during the event will include museum director, Kimberly Kenney, along with retirement timeline experts from Next LLC, pre-need specialists with the Canton Cemetery Association, and special guest speaker Joe Pronio with Affinity Advisory Network will discuss estate planning.

“The Canton Cemetery Association is proud to bring Canton’s storied history together with resources devoted to improving the lives of seniors and their families in this unprecedented event,” noted Claud Shriver, Director.

“Living in a time of uncertainty can be stressful, especially for seniors. Our goal is to eliminate that stress by offering a clear understanding of how to be confident in your decisions throughout your retirement timeline. Learn why Next, LLC is your lifelong resource for a fulfilling retirement,” added Joe Potelicki with Next LLC.

The event is brought to the community in partnership with the Canton Cemetery Association and Next, LLC.
